Note from the Editors: Oh dear. Prudie is angry at those pant-wearing feminists again. Frankly, I wouldn’t want one of those mannish women angry with me; they look quite fierce. Why, dear Emmeline saw a picture of one once in the newspaper and was shocked at the poor thing’s lack of proper foundation undergarments. I can’t imagine! It is just as well that poor Ermangarde spilled her morning tea on the entire Sunday edition before I could see it. Dear Ermangarde did have such a difficult time getting the tea stain out of her petticoat after her swoon landed her on top of both the tea service and the Sunday paper. Sophie is still angry over the cracked sugar bowl, poor dear.
